The curve goes nearly flat between 50,000 and 150,000 km
Somewhere between 50,000 and 150,000 km, the Octavia's asking curve almost stops falling. Our 50–100k band asks around €20,000; the 100–150k band, with roughly 40,000 km more, asks just under €19,000 — about €1,200 apart, or 6%, at the same median model year. Across the deepest models we track that step is closer to a quarter of the price; the Octavia's own slope of about €1,100 per 10,000 km implies nearer €4,000.

The steep parts sit outside that window, and are not all mileage. Below 50,000 km you are mostly looking at 2025 and 2026 cars asking over €32,000 — that gap is age, not wear.
